Reikaart Torrica won the prestigious Shandane Cup Podball final in Sholia yesterday against Stannios Khey with 9-1, 5-4 and 8-2 [IM-feed link].
The former Jaspian Conglomerate champion praised the skill of his successor after the game, while Reikaart commented that “Stannios should have quit podball a long time ago”.
Although there was talk from the Iron Empire of refusing to participate in the world podball championship due to the strained relations with the Free States, Reikaar has now instead provided the Emperor and his realm with the greatest honour in Podball.
